A customization I'd like is not listed on the store. Can i still request it?
Yes! We at PCLeaf have years of experience customizing and personalizing our products to our customers exact liking. If you're worried that your order wasn't specific enough, don't hesitate to call or email us! pcleafmgmt@gmail.com | (832) 540-4290
I just ordered my pc, when can i expect it?
10-14 days is around the time it will take to assemble, test, and ship your computer. This time can be longer if a component you specified becomes back-ordered (Don't worry, we'll let you know if this is the case!)
Why can i select more than 1 storage?
You'll notice an [M.2] label, and a [SATA] label next to the storage options. These are simply types of connectors. [M.2] is extraordinarily faster than [SATA], but motherboards only have a single [M.2] port. This means you can only have a single [M.2] storage. [SATA] ports are considered normal speed, but motherboards typically have many more available ports for these (up to 4). You can connect a solid state drive with a [SATA] connection to enjoy faster speeds than a hard drive connected with a [SATA] connection, but it will not be as quick as a solid state drive with an [M.2] connection.
- Solid State Drives are faster than Hard Drives
- M.2 Connections are faster than SATA connections
- Storage is measured in terabytes (Tb). A single terabyte (Tb) is 1,000 gigabytes (Gb).
- Typical games range anywhere from 1 Gb for games like minecraft, all the way up to 200 Gb for games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
- A 1 Tb Solid State Drive is enough for Windows 10, around 4-5 Triple A title games, and some smaller games.
- It is recommended to install Windows 10 on a solidstate drive to enjoy quick bootup times (Don't worry we already do this for you).
which storage do i select?
- All parts are listed in ascending power order. (Cheaper price typically means less powerful.)
- If you want a low cost solution, use a 2 Tb Hard Drive
- If you want a middle ground solution, use a 1 Tb M.2 Solid State Drive and a 2 Tb Hard Drive. This will allow your computer to boot up and load items quickly that are installed on the M.2 drive, and you'll have a massive 2 Tb storage bank (albeit not as quick) for everything else.
- If money is no issue, use a 1 Tb M.2 Solid State Drive, and a 4 Tb Hard Drive. This will net you 5 Tb of storage, and allow you to retain the high speeds of items installed on the 1 Tb M.2 Solid State Drive.
what's the difference between minimalist vs enthusiast vs king?
The Minimalist trim is for those that are after basic functionality rather than luxuries like aesthetics, cooling, and other items. It includes a single rear case fan, a CPU fan cooler, and all the basic components necessary to get a computer up and running. It is intended for low budget audiences.
The Enthusiast trim is for those that want the full gaming experience without emptying their bank accounts. Luxuries such as upgraded aesthetics, cooling, and lighting are included - but not to the same degree as the King trim. It includes 3 case fans, an upgraded CPU fan cooler, LED lighting in the case, and a silver emblem denoting you went the extra mile. It is intended for the average gaming enthusiast.
The King trim is reserved for those that want everything a gaming PC is supposed to be. It contains every bell and whistle that you're ever going to want on a gaming PC. It includes a full set of case fans (3 in the front, 2 on the radiator), liquid CPU cooling with a dual fan radiator, programmable and synced RGB LEDs on the case, fans, liquid cooling system, motherboard, and RAM, and a gold emblem denoting its elite status.
